Followed by the mass awareness program organized by MACFAST in schools, Municipality hold a meeting of educational institutions to discuss about the follow up plans. Meeting has decided the following.
1. Separate waste collection units will be distributed to schools, to collect bio degradable and non bio degradable wastes separately.
2. Buckets in different colures shall be distributed to promote segregated collection.
3. More awareness programs shall be organized
4. Best schools will be selected and awarded at the end of this academic year.
5. Non bio degradable wastes will be collected at regular intervals
6. A team shall be constituted to visit all the schools and evaluate the progress.
