REPORT ON  THE AWARENESS   PROGRAMME CONDUCTED   ON BEHALF OF CLEAN  &  GREEN TIRUVALLA PROJECT

  On  3rd October  2011, the Macfast college conducted awareness classes in schools & colleges in & around  Tiruvalla on behalf of Gandhi Jayanthi & clean & green Thiruvalla project.Our group consisted of Deepu Mohan,Jerly Akku Cherian,Bijo Sam Babu,Sejo,Deepa and Jiby.The school allotted to our group was Christ Central School .                                                                                                          

The class was arranged at 11pm. We reached there by 10.00am.We met the Principal & we were warmly welcomed by the students. There were 100 students. The introduction part were taken by Sejo. then continued by Jiby & Jerly.then deepu,deepa and bijo take the rest of the session.our presentation includes various games.the game were coordinated by deepu and sejo. We had prepared a powerpoint presentation with topics-waste management, healthy habits. We included videos, documentary & quiz to make the sessions more enthusiastic. We encouraged their initiative mentality by giving them a lot of gifts like keychains, chocolates etc.

             Our class  finished by 12 pm. We were given words of thanks by one of the student. The feedback we got from the faculty member made us feel proud. Really it was an unforgettable experience. The students and the faculties were very cooperative.   The students were really energetic and we made a pledge to save our earth.
