Rev. Fr. Pradeep Vazhatharamalayil, Principal MACFAST plants tree in the Campus at Green Hour

Rev. Fr. Pradeep Vazhatharamalayil, Principal MACFAST started his endeavor as Principal by planting a tree in the Campus -   GO GREEN. SAVE EARTH. "To start with Green is an outstanding privilege. We need to revamp it for common good and it  is our prime priority. " He said.

George Mathew (Director, Radio), Mr. Prajith (Chief Librarian), Mr. Saji (Chief Accountant), Sr. Melvin, Kochumon (Gardener) and  Green Volunteers @ MACFAST took initiative for this effort. The team up roared for more actions in  coming green hours. "Along with awareness - focus for actions is more important.  We envisage to go for more actions like tree planting, gardening, farming etc." Mr. George Mathew (President, Green Hour ) said.

We started it and what is more important is continue and maintain. Now, as a symbolic gesture, we had a tree planting ceremony here in our Campus. Fortunately, the movement towards a deeper commitment to environmental protection through planting new trees and taking care of the existing ones, is rapidly increasing all over the world. Hence, the task of environment protection is a universal responsibility of all of us. I think that is extremely important for us living in the society to not only take a keen interest in the cause of environmental protection, but also to implement this ideal in action by planting new trees.

If there is a tree in our courtyard, at least we can breath fresh air. Above all it is a lung to our mother earth, it creates an atmosphere of natural beauty and serenity - a refugee to diverse bird. Really, how sweet to listen their cherishing music - a natural rhythm of nature. We can eat the fruits from the tree, sit under it and enjoy the cool shade. Please allow this tree to grow up.

My dear friend, Let's cheer for Green. Not for words but for walks. Join hand for a common good - GO GREEN. SAVE MY EARTH.
