Green School initiative starts at Prince

Peringara Prince Marthanda Varma School joins hands with Clean and Green Tiruvalla.
Go green by having a school habitat on your campus .Yes, The first Green School campaign was started in Perinagra Prince Marthandavarama Higher Secondary - one of the oldest, traditional and pioneering  schools in Tiruvalla which has proved its excellency since 70 years .

The campus of Peringara Prince Marthdnada varma is the 'magical' green campus, beautiful, charming which opens the doors of unlimited opportunities by by fascinating students, teachers and parents. This Heritage School is enveloped by varieties of mango trees, herbs, spices and medicinal plants. Green brigadiers of Green Club, Kid Farmers group, open air class rooms, medicinal gardens and bio diversity park are the unique features which that gives an outstanding position to Prince.
Rev.Father Abharam Mulamootil said that "Kerala has an immense possibility to  become an education destination by projecting education as its Universal Selling Point.(USP) While developing Kerala as an education destination, Prince can expose and sharpen itself as green with environmental consciousness as a competitive advantage ". To give emphasis on the Clean and Green Tiruvalla he made the teachers clear that why we are choosing the schools that, children can easily capture the minds of the elders. Another major factor of focusing on children is the famous quote "today’s children are tomorrows citizen". If we could develop these thoughts to this young generation its sure that they will forward this to the coming generation. Better future - its our aim".
He referred about the newly  installed Plastic Shredder at Thukalsherri.Now plastics cannot be called as wastes.In this earth nothing is a waste.Its up to use on how we make use of these resources.



Prince Marthanad Varma plans to initiate various activities in hoilidays as part of its Green School initiative. "Making an apparent change in the attitude of children that is our passion. Our Green club members and brigadiers are now active to take up this initiative." Mrs. Soorya Manoj, Green Club coordinator said.
